On The Journey

I'm about a million sessions behind on posting, but both Tucker and I are well.  We are enjoying summer and trying to stay as cool as possible.  I'll post about a few highlights of late.  We recently had an AWESOME, AWESOME ride out in the pasture trails.  It was one of those days where we were both relaxed and I really believe we both enjoyed the ride.  We've had a few good play sessions since then but nothing of particular note.  We went through a recent sheath cleaning which is never fun, but always reminds me how trusting and good natured my horse is.  It also always reminds me how much I must really care about this horse.

The vet comes Tuesday for yearly routine stuff, which will hopefully go well and be uneventful.

Lance and I are working on purchasing a small farm and right now things are on track for us moving into it by the end of the month.  It has been a stressful and bumpy road, but hopefully it will go well from here on out.  The house purchase has certainly been the focus of much of our energy and I feel fortunate to be getting any time with my horse at all right now.  Once we are in the new place our focus will change to getting our current home sold.  Life is busy and good and full of change right now.  I am both thrilled and terrified to be getting 24/7 care of the horses.

The trail ride sounds just lovely and relaxing from the way you describe it!
How exciting to be moving to a place where you can take care of your horses 24/7! I wish you luck on it! Be sure to take lots of pictures!
